Job Summary:
Seeking a highly analytical and collaborative Financial Business Analyst to support multi-phase implementation of Kahua Enterprise Project Management systems. This platform is central to managing the Capital Improvement Program (CIP), the State of Good Repair program (SGR), and financial workflows.
The analyst will play a key role in ensuring smooth deployment, data accuracy, stakeholder alignment, and optimized financial operations.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with capital project management software and a strong understanding of financial and project reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the liaison between Finance, Technology, Project Managers, and the selected vendor teams to implement and integrate Kahua platforms.
- Analyze existing financial and project management workflows to identify gaps, pain points, and opportunities for improvement.
- Gather, document, and validate business, functional, and reporting requirements related to budgeting, forecasting, fund tracking, and project cost management.
- Assist in system configuration, testing, and validation to ensure alignment with finance and compliance standards.
- Support data migration and integration between legacy systems and financial platforms (e.g., ERP).
- Develop and execute test plans, perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and coordinate defect resolution.
- Working with the Technology Training Team, create training materials and support user training, adoption, and change management strategies.
- Monitor project milestones and contribute to risk mitigation, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
- Provide post-implementation support, including troubleshooting and enhancement recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience as a Financial or Business Analyst, ideally in a capital project or public infrastructure environment.
- Hands-on experience with Kahua and/or Masterworks, including configuration, reporting, or integration projects.
- Strong knowledge of financial processes such as budget control, cost tracking, capital expenditure (CapEx) management, and fund allocation.
- Proficient in Excel, data analysis, and financial reconciliation.
- Exceptional communication skills to translate technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills with an eye for process improvement.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in public sector capital project management (construction, operations, and technology) or infrastructure development.
- Familiarity with procurement, grant funding, and construction finance workflows.
- Knowledge of integration points between Kahua and other major systems (Masterworks Workday, Infor, Maximo).
- Project Management or Business Analysis certifications (e.g., PMP, CBAP) are a plus.
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2-3 days on onsite presence is required)
