What are the responsibilities and job description for the Growth Lead position at Lampwork Software, LLC?
About Lampwork
Lampwork is a venture studio based in Fayetteville. We build, launch, and operate our own digital-first consumer brands. Our primary focus right now is scaling Canvas & Ivy, but our pipeline is active. We are a small team focused on speed, profitability, and shipping real products—not building slide decks.
Why This Role Exists
We have traction, and we have momentum. Now we need capacity. We have more initiatives to test than we have hands to execute them. We are hiring this role to bridge the gap between strategy and execution. We need a builder to make things happen so we can double our output and grow our footprint.
Role Overview
This is a generalist role for someone with a high motor. You will sit directly at the intersection of creative, marketing, and operations.
In a corporate setting, this job would be split into three different departments with three different managers. Here, you own the lifecycle. You will be expected to switch contexts rapidly—moving from creative brainstorming to deep-dive analytics to operational problem-solving in a single afternoon. You will have autonomy, but you will also be accountable for results.
What Your Days Might Look Like
There is no "standard" day, but the work is tangible. You might find yourself:
- Drafting and building a new automated flow in Klaviyo to recover abandoned carts.
- Shooting and editing video assets for a Meta ad campaign.
- Analyzing Shopify sales data to understand why a specific SKU is underperforming.
- Updating site copy to improve conversion rates on a landing page.
- Solving a sudden logistics bottleneck with a supplier to ensure inventory arrives on time.
- QA-ing a new product launch to ensure the customer experience is broken-free.
Who This Fits
This role is likely for you if:
- You eventually want to start your own business and want a front-row seat to see how it’s actually done.
- You are a "google it and figure it out" type of person. You don’t wait for a manual.
- You hate bureaucracy and slow decision-making processes.
- You understand that "done" is better than "perfect," and shipping fast is the only way to learn.
This role is NOT for you if:
- You crave structure, clear-cut hierarchies, and strictly defined 9-to-5 boundaries.
- You need someone to hand you a to-do list every morning.
- You think tasks like packing an order or answering a customer email are "below" you.
Useful Skills
We hire for trajectory and attitude, but the following hard skills will allow you to hit the ground running:
- eCommerce Literacy: Familiarity with the backend of Shopify.
- Visual Creation: You are dangerous in Canva, Photoshop, or CapCut. You don’t need to be an artist, but you need good taste and the ability to execute quickly.
- Direct Response Writing: You can write clear, persuasive copy for emails and ads without fluff.
- Email Marketing: Experience with Klaviyo (campaigns and flows).
- Data Competency: You aren’t scared of a spreadsheet and understand the math behind CAC, AOV, and margin.
