The Opportunity

The COO is a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for managing and improving day-to-day operations across all clinical and administrative functions. This is a critical role for a collaborative leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, values innovation in healthcare delivery, and is deeply committed to improving health outcomes for underserved populations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee clinical and operational workflows across Lamprey’s three sites, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and strategic goals.
  • Lead and mentor department directors and managers to achieve performance targets related to patient access, service quality, staff engagement, and financial sustainability.
  • Ensure compliance with HRSA, PCMH standards, and New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Drive quality improvement initiatives and support population health management strategies.
  • Collaborate with the CEO, CFO, CMO, and other senior leaders to implement long-range plans and community partnerships.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business, or related field strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, with experience in an FQHC or community health setting highly desired.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of delivering primary care within a FQHC regulatory environment including sliding fee programs, UDS reporting, PCMH principles, and state/federal health regulations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to build trust and accountability across departments.
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex projects and improving operational performance.

We are an Equal Opportunity Patient Care Provider and Employer, offering a competitive benefits and compensation package. 

Salary : $125,000 - $130,000
