What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front of House Team Member position at Lampo2GO?
Join our team as a Front of House Team Member and be one of the welcoming faces of Lampo2GO! We are looking for someone to provide exceptional customer experiences by providing friendly service, efficient food handling, and seamless cashiering. Must be organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be taking orders, managing POS systems, and organizing orders. Hours of Operation: Wednesday - Sunday, 11:15 AM - 9:00 PM. 2-3 shifts per week. Must be able to work weekends. This is not a temporary/seasonal position.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, friendly service to enhance their experience
- Take accurate orders using multiple POS systems and ensure quick and efficient transactions
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cashiering duties
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling orders
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by cleaning work areas and adhering to food safety protocols
- Support food handling procedures, including proper storage, portioning, and serving of menu items
Skills
- Experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments with customer interaction
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong cash handling skills and basic math abilities for accurate transactions and register balancing
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
