Job Description:

The Administrative Assistant of Human Resources will perform administrative duties related to the operations of the human resource office as well as full cycle recruiting.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain, organize and update employee personnel files, medical files and confidential files.
• Preparation of new hire and termination paperwork.
• May assist with preparation of human resource reports such as attendance, new hire, and turnover reports.
• Provide administrative support to Human Resources as needed.
• Assist with scheduling needs of department and takes minutes during departmental meetings.
• Full Cycle Recruiting
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Extensive knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
• Prior recruiting experience of at least 2 years
• Ability to operate general office equipment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidential information.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems.

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Administrative training required.
• Two years of administrative assistant experience preferred.
• Prior Human Resources experience highly desired but not required.
• Prior recruting expereince required

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
• Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.

Working Conditions:

• Conditions inside the office is generally quiet, periodically there may be mid-level noise from various equipment when traveling to other facilities.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently standing, walking, and sitting.
