The Lampeter-Strasburg School District is seeking a dedicated and organized professional to join our team as the Assistant Director of School-Age Child Care (SACC). This is a full-time 10-month position available with flexible scheduling during the operating hours of 6:00 am and 6:00 pm. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the daily operations of our program, ensuring a safe, enriching, and DHS compliant environment for our students.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Director in overseeing staff and daily program activities, ensuring high-quality care that aligns with district values.
- Maintain meticulous records, manage planning and reporting, and utilize Procare software for enrollment and billing.
- Ensure the program operates in full accordance with PA Department of Human Services (DHS) standards.
- Act as a point of contact for parents, staff, and school administrators, fostering a positive and collaborative community.
- Help design and implement appropriate age activities that engage school-age children in grades K-5.
- A minimum of an associate's degree, including 30 credit hours in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Elementary Education, and or Human Services field. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- At least 3 years of documented experience working with children.
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Procare Software Suite preferred.
- Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication, leadership, and multi-tasking abilities.
