What are the responsibilities and job description for the Learning Support Teacher position at Lampeter-Strasburg School District?
Position Information
Full-time, permanent position anticipated August 2026. Teacher would be responsible for general education supports, oversight of paraeducators, specialized interventions, replacement instruction if applicable, and overall case management for kindergarten students. Preference for candidates with related experience and extensive literacy and behavioral training.
Interested candidates must be certified Special Education PK-8 or PK-12.
Once all paperwork is submitted, it will be reviewed, and the applicant, if qualified and selected, will be contacted to schedule an interview and complete clearances including current PA Criminal History backgoung check, FBI Criminal background check, Child Abuse background check, TB Test, and any additional paperwork.
