What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Equipment Operator position at LAMP Texas?
📍 Liberty, Texas | 🕐 Full-Time | Immediate Start
We are looking for a Construction Equipment Operator to support an active construction site in Liberty, Texas.
The ideal candidate has experience operating construction or heavy equipment and is willing to learn to operate additional equipment used on site.
- Safely operate construction and site equipment
- Operate forklifts and assist with material movement
- Learn and operate additional site equipment
- Assist with construction and equipment-related activities
- Perform basic equipment checks
- Follow site safety procedures
- Report equipment issues or unsafe conditions
- Maintain a safe and organized work area
- Work collaboratively with the construction team
Experience with any of the following is a strong advantage:
- Forklifts
- Dozers
- Rollers
- Pile drivers
- Cranes
- Other heavy construction equipment
Candidates do not need experience with every type of equipment listed. Candidates with strong equipment-operation experience and the ability to learn may also be considered.
- Previous equipment operating experience preferred
- Forklift experience preferred
- Construction, industrial, or heavy-equipment experience is a plus
- Ability and willingness to learn new equipment
- Strong safety awareness
- Reliable and dependable
- Comfortable working on an active construction site
3 years of equipment or construction operating experience is preferred, but candidates with less experience may be considered based on their skills and ability to learn.
