What You’ll Bring to the Role
- Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering from an accredited college or university.
- Engineer-In-Training (EIT) accreditation, or the ability to obtain it within one year.
- 0 to 4 years of experience as a Project Engineer.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license, or the ability to obtain licensure within four years.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to plan and deliver effective presentations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PDF markup software.
- Experience or familiarity with hydraulic modeling, CAD, and/or GIS is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prepare design computations, engineering letters, and technical reports.
- Willingness to perform occasional site visits to monitor project progress.
- Capability to review contractor and equipment submittals and respond to RFIs.
- A collaborative spirit and the desire to work with both internal teams and external partners on infrastructure layout.
- Interest in professional societies and community involvement.
- A valid driver’s license, required liability insurance, and a clean driving record.
