DEFINITION Under supervision to perform general maintenance, custodial duties and restoration duties at district sites; to perform grounds keeping duties; to assist in the installation of electric fixtures and switches; to install and maintain sprinkler systems; to load and unload delivery trucks; to make deliveries to each school site; and to do other job related work as required. This position may be assigned to a specific location i.e.: Cafeteria, District Office, Family Resource Center, and Warehouse EXAMPLES OF DUTIES Under supervision performs necessary maintenance duties and custodial duties to a school site including painting, loading and unloading supplies, stocks and rotates foodstuffs; stucco work, roofing and repair; repairs and restores coolers; does rough cement work; installs electrical fixtures and switches; maintains bell and clock system; maintains sprinkler system; strips floors; repairs and installs doors and windows; does rough framing; performs other related work as required.
