What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mathematics Interventionist - Lamoille Union High School position at Lamoille Union High School?
Lamoille Union High School is seeking a certified mathematics intervention instructor for the 2026-2027 school year. The successful applicant for this vacancy will join our Mathematics Department and will work to support student growth and success.
The mathematics Interventionist will take an active role in monitoring student growth, providing direct remediation with specific identified outcomes, communicate directly with mathematics instructors, students, parents, and school teams, house homework and classwork from the Mathematics Department, collect data and compile reports on behalf of school teams and administration and coordinate student placements across the system of intervention. In addition to this, they will act as the point person for all math labs as well as provide information to math teachers about what students need, and connect math lab teachers with classroom teachers.
Experience working in a PLC and a school-wide system of intervention desired.
A disposition for project based learning, restorative practices, UbD/UDL planning, and proficiency based learning practices preferred.
