Position Summary
The Public Safety Community Integration Specialist will provide support and services to persons with developmental disabilities. Consumers on their caseload may be on Public Safety Waivers and/or Act 248. Specific consumers may need to be supported by a specific gendered staff per their support plan. The supports will be based on the consumer’s need for support in the following areas: community, employment, and/or in-home supports. Public Safety CIS position works a variety of hours to include night and weekends. To perform these duties the Public Safety CIS must follow Medicaid, State, and Agency guidelines.
Education/Requirements:
Required: High School Diploma
Preferred: Associate degree
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
