Job Summary
The Program Manager will provide oversight of children’s respite and access services. The Program Manager is responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, and supervising hourly respite staff, collaborating with LCMHS service providers for families being served through respite, and maintain appropriate documentation of services including ensuring weekly notes are completed and match reported employee time through Paycom. This position will also be responsible for completing and submitting all reporting needs to the Department of Mental Health. The Program Manager will also work with community partners to grow the respite program including increasing the number of respite staff the agency currently employees and matching clients to an appropriate respite provider if they are not able to find one independently. The Program Manager is responsible for managing the respite budget for both hourly and one time respite ensuring the funds are used appropriately and entirely for each fiscal year. The program manager will also provide direct service in the outpatient program with focus on access services. The Program Manager will work closely with the mobile crisis team to provide follow up communication to any child or family who utilized the mobile crisis team, support the family in scheduling and attending intake appointments, and provide intensive case management services to access clients who are identified as in need of services.
Responsibilities
- Provide supervision to Hourly Respite Providers
- Oversee Respite compliance with regulations set by the Department of Mental Health
- Track and manage respite referrals from other LCMHS service providers
- Track and approve Respite timesheets and expense sheets
- Manage Respite Budget
- Help maintain documentation needed to provide services to CYFS clients including the Home Provider Disclosure Law (Peggy's Law)
- Provide direct services to assigned caseload
- Attend CSP meetings for youth who are not open to LCMHS services
- Facilitate group supervision or staff meetings as needed
Qualifications
Required: Completed bachelor’s degree and experience working with children with emotional and behavioral difficulties and trauma experiences.

Pay: From $16.50 per hour
