Job Summary
The primary responsibilities of the functional skills/community support behavioral Behavior Interventionist are to provide short term therapeutic intervention and support to the assigned child(ren) they are working with. Bis will be assigned to different clients to work with daily for a time set by the team. Functional /community Behavioral BI could provide longer-term support to a specific client if they meet higher needs. Interventionists during the school day work directly with clients.

Education/Experience
Required: significant experience working as a Behavior Interventionist or with children in other direct support positions using trauma informed practices.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree, in the human services field or related field.
License/Certifications
