We are a subcontractor specializing in these products and are looking for an Estimator/Project Manager to join our team!
Responsibilities:
Estimating
- Actively pursue bid and quote Division 10 / Construction Specialties (lockers, restroom partitions, operable walls, etc.).
- Attend pre-bid meetings, conducts site inspections, evaluates specifications, prepares RFIs and collect adequate data to determine bid/no-bid decision.
- Interpret architectural plans and specifications, perform material take-offs and obtain quotes from vendors.
- Collaborate with team to identify improvement opportunities for quality of work and cost efficiencies.
- Become well versed in product offerings and details.
Project Management
- Coordinate the project from start to finish. This includes the review and management of contracts and change orders, completion of submittals, closeouts, punch lists and AIA billing paperwork.
- Work with procurement to order and expedite contracted materials.
- Direct installation crew to ensure a high level of client satisfaction.
- Communication with GC’s, architect, client and manufacturer as needed.
- Assist in receiving and staging material.
Position Requirements:
- College Degree in related field and/or industry experience
- Self-motivated and directed with attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
