ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking for a high-energy, dependable and skilled team player to produce machined parts by setting up and operating and computer numerical control (CNC) machine. This position is also responsible for mainlining quality and safety standards and keeping accurate records of finished goods, scrap and delegated quality checks.
Shift Hours: Monday through Thursday 2:30pm-1:00am
DUTIES
- Create various wood and plastic components using CNC machinery
- Follow all pre-established installation and quality methods, procedures and guidelines to ensure consistency of work.
- Develop knowledge of warehouse management systems
- Follow health and safety rules to reduce the risk of workplace injury
- Use pre-set programs to cut various parts on the CNC machinery
- Follow escalation procedure when the machine is not functioning properly, or parts are outside of tolerances
- Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities that add value
- Complete delegated assignments which may include assembling machined parts
- Use provided measuring devices to ensure quality of parts
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High School or Equivalent
- CNC machining experience
