Team Member — Beverage Maker & Cashier

We're a Hong Kong–style smashed lemon tea shop opening in Westwood. We're looking for reliable, friendly team members to make our drinks and run the counter. Full and part-time positions available. Training provided — no prior experience required, just a good attitude and a willingness to learn.
Pay: $20/hour to start (above LA minimum wage), plus tips Schedule: Flexible shifts, weekends included
What you'll do
- Make the drinks: brew tea bases, hand-smash fresh lemons to release the juice and peel oils, operate the shaker and sweetener dispensers, and seal cups — all to recipe, every time.
- Run the counter: take orders on our POS and self-serve kiosks, handle cash and card payments accurately, and give warm, quick service.
- Fulfill delivery orders: correctly prepare, label, seal, and stage HungryPanda / DoorDash / Uber Eats orders — this is a big part of our volume, so accuracy matters.
- Keep it clean: sanitize stations and equipment, restock and rotate ingredients, and handle opening/closing tasks.
What we're looking for
- Able to serve our Cantonese- and Mandarin-speaking customers comfortably; basic English is a plus.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Able to obtain a California Food Handler Card within 30 days of hire (we'll point you to the ~90-minute online course).
- Dependable and punctual, works well on a small team.
- Comfortable standing for full shifts and lifting up to ~40 lbs.
- Boba / tea / food-service experience welcome but not required.
