What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Associate/Machine Operator position at Lamers Dairy, Inc.?
Lamers Dairy is an award-winning family owned & operated fluid dairy processor & distributor located in the Fox Valley since 1913. We are looking for a self-motivated candidate to operate machines for our Filling lines.
Work weeks are typically Monday through Friday with early shifts (3 - 5am start times) until daily production is complete. Average work weeks are around 40 - 45 hours, with overtime paid after 40 hours.
Primary duties include learning to operate and monitor machines on our filling and packaging lines, packaging finished products, and overseeing quality of finished products/packaging. Duties also include joining the rotation for daily cleaning/sanitization at the end of the shift and routine/preventative maintenance of equipment and/or facility.
