Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily operations including office staff, drivers, and mechanics.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Oversee hiring, onboarding, and driver file maintenance for DOT compliance.
- Manage and schedule charter and school bus bookings.
- Maintain fleet condition, coordinate vehicle maintenance, and ensure equipment safety.
- Develop customer relationships and drive new business opportunities.
- Monitor customer billing and payment collections.
- Occasionally assist with driving.
- Coordinate building and grounds maintenance as needed.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or minimum 2 years of relevant transportation industry experience.
- Prior experience in school bus operations is a plus.
- Valid CDL (Class B or higher) with school bus and passenger endorsements or willingness to obtain – training provided.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic office software; ability to learn internal systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
