What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Bus Driver Darlington position at Lamers Bus Lines?
Position: School Bus Driver Schedule: Part-Time, Flexible | Start Training This Summer
The new school year is coming — and now is the perfect time to get behind the wheel. Lamers Bus Lines is hiring School Bus Drivers and Charter Bus Drivers, and this summer is your opportunity to get trained, get licensed, get some experience, and be ready to roll when students head back to school in the fall. No CDL? No problem — we’ll train you and pay you while you learn.
What You’ll Be Doing
There’s no better time to earn your CDL than now. Training this summer means you’ll be fully licensed, confident behind the wheel, and ready to start the school year strong — with a route and a purpose waiting for you on day one.
Why Drivers Choose Lamers Bus Lines
At Lamers Bus Lines, we don’t offer new hire bonuses — and that’s intentional. Instead of flashy sign-on incentives designed to get people in the door, we believe in showing every one of our drivers that they are valued every month, every year, for as long as they’re part of our team. Some companies dangle large bonuses with complicated requirements that are difficult to achieve, leaving drivers with little to show for their efforts once the new hire period ends.
At Lamers, our commitment to our drivers doesn’t have an expiration date. All we ask is that you show up on time and drive safely — because drivers who do that deserve to be recognized and rewarded consistently, not just when they first walk through the door.
