Job description
Lambert Transfer Company is hiring dependable Logistics Delivery Drivers to join our final-mile home delivery team.
This is active, physical delivery work that requires both professional driving skills and the ability to safely deliver large household items into customers' homes. Drivers are expected to safely operate company vehicles, lead their assigned delivery helper, and provide outstanding customer service.

Pay
- Starting Pay: $18.00/hour
- Full-time, steady schedule
- Overnight routes paid at $1.50/hour premium
- After promotion to Dependable Status: $1.00/hour Reliability Premium
Schedule
- Full-Time Position
- Steady weekday schedule for reliable team members
- Approximately 1 in 5 routes require an overnight stay (usually 1 night). Overnight premium pay applies.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to safely move 150 lbs with a partner repeatedly throughout the day
- Comfortable working in all seasons (heat, cold, rain)
- Comfortable entering customer homes and working in tight spaces
- Able to remain active for a full shift (lifting, carrying, stair carries, loading/unloading)
What You'll Do
- Safely operate a company delivery truck
- Lead your assigned delivery helper throughout the workday
- Work as the leader of a 2-person delivery team
- Deliver and place large household items
- Assist with appliance placement and basic installs (training provided)
- Complete delivery paperwork and communicate professionally with customers
- Load and unload trucks
- Support shipping and receiving operations, including loading and unloading delivery trucks
- Maintain professional conduct in customer homes
- Take responsibility for the safe, efficient, and professional completion of each assigned route

- Valid driver's license (Class D or higher)
- Safe driving record
- Previous delivery or commercial driving experience preferred
- Background check required
