- You will work with leadership on operational and strategic planning, including fostering innovation, planningprojects, and organizing and negotiating the allocation of resources.
- You will Benchmark, analyze, report on, and make recommendations for the improvement of Engineeringpractices and procedures within the organization.
- You will partner with senior Engineering leadership to create and implement day to day technology solutionsto business problems.
- You will assist with developing business case justifications, cost/benefit analysis and budget for Engineeringspending and initiatives.
- You will manage vendor contracts to ensure compliance.
- You will stay abreast of latest developments, techniques, and changes in the laws pertaining to the areas ofresponsibility and ensure organizational compliance.
- You will work closely with business unit leaders to improve the reliability and effectiveness of Engineeringpractices throughout the company.
- You will manage, evaluate, and develop staff to ensure the organization's Engineering activities areconducted accurately, ethically, consistently and according to relevant regulations, laws, and standards.
- You will need 8 or more years of progressive experience in Engineering
- You will need a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- You will need 1 or more years of personnel and departmental leadership experience
- You will need a strong understanding of the company
- You will need advanced interpersonal skills; be an expert within the field of Engineering
