At Lambert's Cable, as a Laborer on our Telecom Underground team, you’ll participate in all phases of underground construction, including loading, delivery, digging, and equipment operation.

- Perform construction tasks including loading, delivery, digging, and operating equipment
- Install underground telecommunications cabling
- Operate construction equipment, and maintain work areas
- Clearly communicate with all team members
- Complete daily production reports
- Help with site restoration efforts
- Perform work in all weather conditions
- Other duties as assigned
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent relevant work experience
- Previous experience safely operating hand tools and utility trucks is preferred
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- CDL Class A license is required
- Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card)
Physical abilities & exposures
- Work at heights, including occasional use of ladders
- Enter attics and crawl spaces
- Work independently in remote locations
- Operate vehicles and heavy machinery
- Perform repetitive squeezing and fine hand movements
- Bend, stoop, stand, walk, and climb stairs
- Lift and carry up to 55 pounds without assistance
- Use a ladder
- Use a keyboard and mouse
