We are seeking a motivated and people-centric professional to support the Human Resources department with administrative and clerical tasks. This is a part-time, in-person position reporting directly to the Human Resources Manager. The selected candidate will be working 20-30 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the HR Manager.
- Assist with recruiting tasks such as reviewing resumes, conducting and scheduling interviews, hiring, and following up with candidates.
- Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of HR files and records.
- Compile and process employee documentation and records, and keep the employee database up to date.
- Support the implementation of HR processes, policies, and initiatives.
- Assist with logistics of onboarding, new hire orientation, and offboarding.
- Provide general support for other HR projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of HR or office administration related experience
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in administrative duties such as communications, data entry, and record keeping.
- Tact and professionalism when it comes to handling confidential information and addressing employee concerns.
- Proficiency with technology, and the ability to pick up new software easily.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Desired Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree completed or actively enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Human Resources or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Previous work experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in designing social media posts or flyers for events.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish
