Role Description
LAMARQUE is seeking a freelance creative designer to support seasonal collection development. This role is focused on concept development, silhouette innovation, and elevating our leather and tailored categories.
This is not a production or technical role. We are looking for a strong creative mind who can help shape product direction and bring fresh perspective while respecting brand DNA.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing seasonal creative direction aligned with brand identity
- Generate 15–25 original silhouettes per season
- Propose proportion shifts and category evolution
- Identify hero product opportunities
- Conduct competitive and market analysis
- Participate in design reviews
- Collaborate with internal technical team for execution handoff
Qualifications
- 5–10 years experience in contemporary womenswear
- Proficiency in design tools and software, including Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Strong understanding of proportion, construction, and commercial viability
- Creativity and ability to stay current with fashion trends and forecasts
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and time management skills
- Experience in the fashion industry, specifically working with leather and outerwear, is a strong asset
- Degree in Fashion Design
