Key Responsibilities
Project Management
Lead end-to-end project delivery from design through close-out.
Create and manage timelines, scopes, and budgets in collaboration with field and office teams.
Conduct regular job site visits to ensure progress, compliance, and quality.
Financial Oversight
Monitor project budgets, change orders, and invoices.
Track financial performance, prepare forecasts, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Approve billings and payment authorizations.
Team and Subcontractor Oversight
Recruit, evaluate, and manage project staff and subcontractors.
Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and vendors.
Ensure high standards of subcontractor performance and accountability.
Operations and Compliance
Develop and enforce company-wide operational strategies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, health, safety, environmental, and jurisdictional regulations.
Oversee site safety and quality control across all active projects.
Communication and Reporting
Deliver regular project status updates to ownership, clients, and stakeholders.
Coordinate communication across internal departments and external partners.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (Master’s or certifications like PMP/LEED preferred).
Experience: 10 years in commercial construction, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing multi-site projects.
Technical Skills: Proficient in construction methodologies, financial controls, project management software, and contract law.
Leadership Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
Travel: Willingness and ability to travel nationwide regularly to active project sites.
