Job Summary
Teach public relations and strategic communication to both undergraduate and graduate students. This includes everything from the intro class through a graduate capstone.

Minimum and Desired Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- PhD or other terminal degree in Communication, Public Relations, Strategic Communication, or related field.
- We will consider candidates who are ABD as long as they are scheduled for completion by September 1, 2026.
- Skilled teacher.
- Evidence of research/creative activity production.
- Work well with others in service situations.
Desired Qualifications:
- 1-5 years as a public relations professional/communication manager/strategic communication professional.
- Familiarity with PRSSA. APR (accreditation in public relations.
- Well-versed in crisis communication.
- Adaptability.
- Familiarity with appropriate computer programs and platforms.
Supplemental Information

- Familiarity with public relations and strategic communication professions.
- Strong pedagogy skills.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to move around campus, lift up to 25 lbs.
