Job Summary
The Department of Counseling seeks candidates qualified with a concentration in School Counseling, Clinical Mental Health or Marriage Couples and Family Counseling. This is a part time, pooled position filled on an as-needed basis. Teaches students enrolled in Counseling Skills, Residency, Practicum and Internship and other courses as needed.
Essential Job Functions
- Teach online courses using current pedagogical methods.
- Maintain effective and timely communication with students, course lead.
- Maintain effective and timely communication with students, course lead and chair of department.
Minimum and Desired Qualifications
- Applicants must have an earned doctorate degree in Counselor Education and licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage Family Therapist, or Certified School Counselor.
- Experience in online education.
Desired Qualifications:
- Licensed Professional Counselor; Licensed Marriage Family Therapist, or certified School Counselor.
Supplemental Information
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to implement effective and innovative teaching strategies.
- Experience in online teaching at the graduate level
