The Student Worker has responsibilities that include, but are not limited to, providing general office/departmental support and assisting departments with any other related duties as assigned. The Student Worker’s worked hours must not exceed 20 hours per week. This is a non-exempt position. Duties/Responsibilities
This position requires employees to remain in a stationary position most of the time; move to various locations on campus; move about inside an office to access documents, office equipment, etc.; and operate a computer or other office equipment, such as a printer or copy machine.

- Filing, making copies, faxing, shredding and scanning
- Data entry
- Document creation and/or maintenance, using Microsoft Word and Excel
- May assist with department and/or student events
- Greet and assist office guests, campus visitors, etc.
- Answer phone, receive and sort mail
- Comply with campus policies and procedures
- Other related duties, as assignedMinimum/Preferred Qualifications
- Current LSCPA student, enrolled in a minimum of six (6) semester credit hours per long semester, or three (3) semester credit hours during Summer semesters
- Grade Point Average of 2.0 or higher
- Valid driver’s license/state ID
- Must be comfortable performing work independently and with minimal supervision
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and other computer program/applications
- Ability to operate office equipment: computer, calculator, copier, faxSupplemental Information
