MLJ LuxDesign Builders & Construction and its National Franchisor are seeking a high-performance Controller to lead accounting across two rapidly scaling organizations:

• MLJ LuxDesign Builders
  
  

Builders of ultra-luxury custom homes ranging $5M–$50M .

• National Franchisor Division
  
  

Scaling from 22 locations to 1,000 globally within five years.

This is a high-impact executive role for a financial leader who thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments and enjoys building systems for scale.

What You’ll Do

• Lead all accounting operations across construction and franchising divisions.
• Manage job costing, WIP reports, subcontractor payments, and draw schedules.
• Oversee franchise accounting: royalties, fees, auditready FDD financials.
• Build and lead a highperforming accounting team.
• Partner with the CEO on capital planning, budgeting, lending, and financial strategy.
• Implement systems (NetSuite/Sage), AP automation, and financial controls.
• Deliver accurate monthly closes, cash flow forecasts, dashboards, and board reporting.

What We’re Looking For

• 510 years controlling accounting for construction, real estate, franchising, or multiunit operations.
• Expertlevel knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting, and multientity structures.
• Proven success supporting highgrowth companies ($10M → $100M ).
• CPA required; MBA strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership presence, communication ability, and execution mindset.
• High integrity, accuracy under pressure, and a positive, solutionsoriented approach.
