Semiconductor Field Service Engineer - for LAM Research x Insight Global

• Can hire at level I, 2 or 3!

Basic Qualifications:

• Comfortable with 80% travel including being gone on weekends
• Ability to read electrical schematics
• Experience with maintenance, troubleshooting, installing or repairing electromechanical equipment at a semiconductor fabrication plant (2-3 years experience minimum)
• Strong knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical systems
• Strong knowledge and motivation of upholding safety on the job site (i.e. LOTO, fall prevention, chemical safety, electrical safety, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with / troubleshooting robotic equipment
• Experience supporting semiconductor equipment
• Military experience in the following MOS’:
• Avionics Technician
• Load Master
• Electronics Technician
• Vehicle Tech

Role Overview:

Insight Global is looking for Field Service Engineers/Technicians to join a leading equipment manufacturer within the semiconductor industry. This individual will be responsible for traveling to different sites to do installations of semiconductor equipment at a fabrication plant. The first 15 days they will designate what tool set they will be working on and what customers they will be helping do installations for. They will be traveling every 6-8 weeks to different locations in the US to install the equipment, where they will go home after week 6 (or 8, depending on how long the installation project takes) each time for an "admin" week. (Admin weeks will be onsite in their base city, either Hillsboro, or Phoenix, or Manassas). On top of installations, they will be assisting in troubleshooting, repairs and routine maintenance on the equipment.

Compensation:

Level 1: $27.00 to $29.00 per hour plus per diem

Level 2: $30.00 to $33.00 per hour plus per diem

Level 3: $32.00 to $34.00 per hour plus per diem
