The Maintenance Manager will oversee all installations, repairs, and upkeep of plant operations. This individual will lead a team of technicians, manage maintenance schedules and ensure compliance with safety, environmental and operational standards. - Maintain and develope new as needed preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance staff and contractors.
- Monitor and manage maintenance budgets and expenditures.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with mechanical, electrical and HVAC systems.
- Collaborate with other departments to support production and operational goals.
- Recommend and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Vendor review and qualification.
- Procurement of equipment and spare sparts.
Required
- B.S. degree in maintenance related field and/or five years experience in technical maintenance areas: electrical, instrument repairs, mechanical, HVAC, etc.
- Good supervisory, leadership and organizational skills.
- Understanding of electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read blueprints and P&ID's
- Proficient computer skills.
- Strong analytical and prioritization skills.
- Knowledge of equipment and processes related to site fermentation, blending, spray drying, roller drying, agglomeration, packaging and ultra filtration highly
- Experience in regulatory compliance.
- Experience in CMS (Computerized Maintenance Programs).
- Journeyman technical experience highly preferred.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Good problem-solving abilities.
- Promote a healthy work environment through good employee relations.
- Manage spare parts inventory to minimize downtime.
- Manage Preventative Maintenance program.
- Manage work order program.
Required
- Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
- May be required to enter confined space and work at heights above 4 feet.
- On-call weekend and off shift availability as necessary to provide operational management support.
- Ensure employees adhere to OSHA and food safety requirements.
- PSM program knowledge to ensure regulatory compliance.
