Position Overview
Quality Control Specialist at LAKOS Filtration Solutions ensures all products meet established performance, safety, and customer specifications through rigorous inspection, testing, and documentation processes. This role supports manufacturing by identifying defects, driving corrective actions, and maintaining compliance with quality standards to ensure reliable, high-performance filtration systems are delivered to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform incoming inspections of flagged raw materials and verify conformance to specifications (Receiving inspection and ASME materials).
- Conduct final inspections of completed systems prior to shipment.
- Conduct in-process quality checks and visual inspections during assembly and production.
- Document and report non-conforming material. Communicate to Quality Assurance Specialist to initiate corrective actions when needed.
- Maintain inspection records, deviation logs, and quality tracking reports.
- Support root cause analysis and collaborate on continuous improvement projects.
- Ensure adherence to quality procedures and company standards throughout inventory handling and final assembly.
Qualifications
- 1 years of experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing or warehouse environment is a plus.
- Experience using ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Nav, NetSuite, SAP, or similar).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures with accuracy and consistency.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and basic data entry.
- Working knowledge of quality standards, basic inspection tools, and documentation practices.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods (80% of workday).
- Effective communication, sound judgment, and reliability required.
