Box Truck Driver (Non-CDL)
Description:
This job requires a qualified Class C driver’s license to oversee daily collection of waste tires.
This position is responsible for the safe collection of used tires from customer facilities and transportation of the tires back to Lakin facility or drop yard. In addition to the tire collections, the driver also functions as the main point of customer interaction and records all transactions in accordance with company standards.
Lakin drivers are responsible for pre-route inspection of vehicle for defects, driving to and from our customer locations, and collecting tires with the assistance of a Helper.
The shifts are an average of 10-12 hours a day, Monday to Friday and occasional Saturday and Holiday work.
The job is physically demanding, and we are looking for dedicated individuals who do not mind getting their hands dirty.
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday and occasional Saturdays
- 40 hours per week, overtime is required
Hourly Pay:
- TBD
Experience:
- Drivers must have a current Class C Driver’s License
- Clean DMV record (no DUI's in the past 3 years)
- Must be able to work overtime as needed
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
- If requested must be flexible with work schedule (willing to work night shift and Saturdays)
