As Resident Care Supervisor, you'll be a hands-on leader responsible for supporting our residents, guiding our care team, and making sure each resident receives compassionate, respectful, and personalized care.
What You'll Do
- Lead and supervise the care team during the overnight shift.
- Ensure residents receive high-quality, compassionate care.
- Support smooth shift changes and communicate important resident updates.
- Assist with medication management and medication-related responsibilities as permitted by state regulations.
- Monitor residents for changes in condition, medication side effects, incidents, and other concerns.
- Communicate with clinical leadership, healthcare providers, pharmacies, residents, and families as needed.
- Respond to resident and family questions or concerns as the supervisor on duty.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living according to their care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation and protect resident privacy and confidentiality.
- Report incidents, accidents, suspected abuse, grievances, and changes in resident condition promptly.
- Review resident care plans and communicate changes in resident needs to the clinical team.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, organized, and welcoming community.
- Support meals, activities, and social programs when needed.
- Step in wherever you're needed to help our residents and team succeed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Current Med-Tech certification and CPR/First Aid required.
- CNA certification preferred.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Prior supervisory or management experience required.
- 3 years of assisted living or memory care experience preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
