What You'll Do
- Prepare high-quality meals according to the community's menu and nutritional standards.
- Follow recipes, special diets, and resident preferences with care and attention to detail.
- Prepare food safely while maintaining proper temperatures, storage, sanitation, and food-handling standards.
- Get to know resident likes and dislikes and help create meals residents look forward to.
- Support an exceptional dining experience by interacting with residents and responding to their needs and feedback.
- Keep the kitchen, equipment, storage areas, and food preparation spaces clean, organized, and safe.
- Work closely with the Culinary Services team to support smooth meal service.
- Help train and support team members and promote a positive, collaborative kitchen environment.
- Follow all health department, company, and safety standards.
- Jump in, show initiative, and help wherever needed to make the dining experience exceptional.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of food service experience required.
- 3 years of food service experience preferred.
- A passion for preparing quality food and serving others.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile.
