Key Responsibilities
- RNs & LPNs:
- Deliver direct clinical care, administer medications, and perform physician-ordered treatments.
- Conduct resident assessments, track care plans, and chart clinical progress.
- Provide daily mentorship and direction to CNAs and nursing team members.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, interdisciplinary staff, and resident families.
- CNAs:
- Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, dining, and mobility).
- Check and document vital signs, reporting any changes in resident condition to unit nurses.
- Foster a safe, clean, and comforting environment that honors resident dignity.
Qualifications
- RN / LPN: Active Maine RN or LPN license (or active compact state license).
- CNA: Active state certification on the Maine CNA Registry.
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to senior care.
