Lakewood Financial & Insurance is a well-established independent insurance agency serving the Lakewood Ranch area since 2003. We represent over 40 top-rated carriers and provide coverage for auto, home, life, and commercial insurance.
We’re looking for a career-driven Account Manager to join our team and help us deliver exceptional service to our clients.
Requirements:
- 2–3 years of customer service experience in an independent insurance agency.
- Active 2044 or 220 Insurance License.
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage a high volume of calls.
- Quick learner with excellent multitasking abilities.
- Professional, friendly, and team-oriented attitude.
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Support our service and sales team in managing a large, established book of business.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to clients.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues in a friendly, business-casual office environment.
Primary Objectives:
- Provide prompt, courteous, and professional assistance to all clients via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Maintain a positive and empathetic tone during all communications.
- Handle complex client inquiries and resolve escalated service issues with strong attention to detail.
- Provide detailed explanations of coverage options, endorsements, and policy terms.
- Process policy changes, endorsements, cancellations, and renewals accurately.
- Prepare and submit applications for new policies within agency and carrier guidelines.
- Pursue cross-selling and new business opportunities by identifying appropriate prospects and promoting products or services in alignment with client needs.
- Identify coverage gaps and recommend additional products or endorsements.
- Prepare quotes and proposals for new and existing clients.
- Document all client interactions and transactions in the agency management system.
- Ensure adherence to state insurance regulations and agency compliance protocols.
- Build strong client relationships through proactive communication and service.
- Utilize agency technology tools (AMS, CRM, carrier portals) effectively.
- Verify coverage details and documentation before submitting to carriers.
- Ensure timely delivery of policy documents to clients.
