Duties
- Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with check-in procedures using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Collect and record vital signs, medical histories, and other patient information accurately.
- Prepare examination rooms, assist providers during patient visits..
- Manage appointment scheduling, follow-up reminders, and coordinate patient flow efficiently across outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Handle administrative tasks including insurance verification, ICD coding for diagnoses, and processing referrals or prescriptions.
- Maintain meticulous documentation of patient interactions, treatment notes, and clinical data in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in outpatient clinics.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy.
- Familiarity with EHR systems and medical administrative support tasks such as intake processing and vital signs collection.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent patient service skills with a focus on compassionate care for diverse populations including inpatient units or outpatient clinics.
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
