Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, refrigeration units, HVAC systems, and kitchen equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair appliances, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, and mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
- Install new appliances, HVAC components, and mechanical systems following manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Conduct repairs on air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, kitchen appliances, and other mechanical equipment to minimize downtime.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system inspections for compliance and reporting purposes.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management to resolve issues efficiently and ensure continuous operations.
Experience
- Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, refrigeration, or mechanical systems repair.
- Demonstrated ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints for troubleshooting complex equipment issues.
- Hands-on experience with appliance installation, kitchen equipment maintenance.
- Knowledge of maintenance operations including repair and operations practices for various mechanical and electrical systems.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with team members and clients about technical issues.
