What are the responsibilities and job description for the Child Care Float Assistant/Paraprofessional position at Lakeville Area Schools?

This position works directly with a supervisor to provide quality, engaging curriculum to Pre-K to elementary-aged students and students with disabilities. We are looking for individuals with strong communication and organizational skills. Childcare experience is required.
Job responsibilities:
- Assists Instructors in preparing and implementing daily curriculum and recreational activities.
- Provide prep and clean up of projects, snacks and activities.
- Communicate any issues to the instructor/supervisor.
- Provide support to children with disabilities.
Pay and schedule:
- Competitive pay between $17.35 - $21.13 per hour, based off experience.
- Flexible hours between 6:30 am and 6:00 pm.
- Possibility to work before school, after school, or all-day program.
- Participate in field trips on non-school days.
Benefits:
- Full benefits package, including health and dental insurance for employees working 30 hours per week.

- Must be at least 18 years of age and a High School graduate.
- Childcare experience is required.
