About the Role
We’re looking for a caring, patient, and genuinely kind person to help care for a young man with significant developmental disabilities in a peaceful home environment. This is not a facility or group-home position — it’s one-on-one support for a wonderful person who thrives with gentle, consistent care.

- Help with daily routines such as meals, dressing, and personal care.
- Offer companionship and calm presence throughout the day.
- Assist with safety, mobility, and general well-being.
- Help create a peaceful, structured environment that promotes comfort and connection.
- Follow simple routines and communicate clearly with the family.
Who You Are
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient.
- Comfortable working one-on-one with someone who has significant disabilities.
- Open to learning and following care routines.
- Respectful, trustworthy, and able to maintain privacy and dignity at all times.
Experience with caregiving, autism, or developmental disabilities is helpful but not required — we’re happy to train the right person who truly cares.
Preferred Skills & Certifications
- CPR/First Aid (or willing to obtain)
- Experience in home care, respite, or special-needs support (a plus)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
