Our busy and successful veterinary clinic in Ashland is currently hiring a Client Service Representative/Veterinary Assistant to support both our front desk and clinical team. This is a key role that ensures clients feel welcome and pets get the care they deserve.
What You’ll Do: This is a dual-role position with training provided. Once trained, your day may include:
- Greeting clients with warmth and professionalism
- Answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing patient records
- Assisting with patient intake and discharge
- Helping veterinary staff with animal restraint, prepping exam rooms, and handling basic treatments (under supervision)
- Ensuring cleanliness, comfort, and efficiency throughout the clinic
What We’re Looking For:
- 1 year of experience in a veterinary or customer service role preferred
- Excellent communication skills — both with clients and team members
- Comfortable handling pets and being on your feet most of the day
- Friendly, positive, and ready to learn
- Organized, dependable, and calm under pressure
Hours & Availability
This is a part or full time opening! Your availability should align with our hours of operation as follows:
- Monday - Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
- Friday: 8:00am - 12:00pm
- NO Weekends!
Compensation
We are searching for a great candidate and offer competitive pay accordingly, the starting hourly range for this position is $15 - $20 per hour, and is dependent upon experience. Other amazing benefits include:
