Registered Nurse
Purpose:
Assess medical needs of residents and assure that necessary care and services are being provided.

Essential Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of care and assure all physicians, families or surrogates are notified of any resident condition changes.
- Administer medications, performed prescribed treatments and document all necessary information as needed and assure that all physicians’ orders are followed as written.
- Respond promptly to all emergency calls and other requests in the Community for medical services and document all changes and pertinent resident information.
- Arrange for home health care and services, if needed, upon resident’s discharge from HCC.
- Secure and store properly all toxic/hazardous substances utilized in the work area.
Required Qualification:
- Registered Nurse currently licensed in the State of Florida.
- CPR certified.
- For purposes of effective communication with residents, families and staff must be able to see, hear, speak, read and write English.
- Maintain ability to stretch, push, pull, kneel, reach, twist, lift unassisted at least 50 lbs and walk or stand up to eight hours.
