Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Private Practice Therapist/Postdoctoral Fellow, based in Chicago, IL, with flexibility for remote work. Responsibilities include conducting individual, family, and group therapy sessions for children, adolescents, and adults. The role also involves developing treatment plans, maintaining accurate client records, collaborating with families and external professionals, and participating in team meetings to ensure the delivery of high-quality care for clients.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in individual, family, and group therapy, addressing emotional, behavioral, and developmental concerns
- Knowledge and experience in diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, and evidence-based interventions
- Ability to build collaborative relationships with families, schools, and community stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including documentation and client correspondence
- Competence in maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines in clinical practice
- Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology (PsyD, PhD), or completion of a graduate program in Clinical Psychology and eligibility for postdoctoral training
- Provisional or full licensure in Illinois (or the ability to obtain licensure)
- Prior experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in therapeutic settings
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote care delivery is a plus
