What are the responsibilities and job description for the Occupational Therapist - PRN position at Lakeview Post Acute?
We are hiring for a PRN Occupational Therapist, or OTR, who would be responsible for providing patients with treatment to help them develop and improve their ability to complete everyday tasks related to their job and daily life. Their duties include performing initial patient assessments, teaching patients to use adaptive technology and coaching them through therapeutic activities. Supervision of COTAs is necessary for the carryover of techniques and goals based upon the OT evaluation.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate clients’ physical, cognitive, and psychosocial abilities through interviews, medical history review, and functional assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve daily living.
- Recommend and train clients in the use of adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
- Monitor, document, and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, PTs, SLPs and caregivers.
- Educate patients and families on techniques to support independence.

Salary : $77,672 - $103,514
