Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Title Specialists, ensuring title issues are resolved promptly, accurately, and in alignment with internal service level agreements (SLAs).
- Monitor team workflow and productivity, using reports and dashboards to assess performance and make data-driven decisions.
- Ensure the Title Specialists pipeline stays within SLA timelines and meets the required accuracy standards required by internal guidelines.
- Lead training and job aids for the Title Specialists in conjunction with the training team.
- Train new employees on the company’s loan origination system and manage the progress and performance of direct reports.
- Collaborate with IT to develop and enhance dashboards and reports that support visibility into team metrics and performance trends.
- Analyze performance and workflow reports to identify trends, improve operational processes, and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are consistently met.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for title clearance, offering guidance to both internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Ensure Title Specialists complete tasks and condition files accurately, implementing course corrections as needed based on QA/QC findings and stakeholder feedback.
- Address and respond to findings from Internal Audit, Quality Assurance (QA), and Quality Control (QC) reviews.
- Oversee all aspects of team management, including timekeeping, overtime tracking, performance evaluations, and employee development.
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff by clearly communicating team goals, policies, and procedural updates through regular staff meetings and one-on-one coaching.
- Recruit, interview, and hire new team members as needed to support departmental growth.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred; Equivalent experience will be considered.
- 5 years of experience in title clearance or related functions within the mortgage industry.
- Prior management or team leadership experience preferred.
- Experience working with various loan origination systems (LOS), such as Encompass, Blend, or similar platforms.
- Deep knowledge of title clearance processes in the mortgage origination space.
- Proven ability to take initiative, motivate teams, and maintain high levels of productivity and morale.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated ability to coach, lead, and train team members to meet performance goals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Salary : $65,000 - $70,000
