IT DATA ANALYTICS INTERN

Overview

We are seeking a motivated Data Analytics Intern to support the analysis and visualization of data to drive strategic decision-making across the organization. This internship offers hands-on experience in data preparation, analytics, and reporting while working closely with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities

• Data Collection & Preparation: Gather and clean data from various sources, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness for analysis.
• Data Analysis: Perform statistical and exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement or decision-making.
• Reporting & Visualization: Create insightful dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Excel to communicate key findings to stakeholders.
• Business aInsights: Translate analytical findings into actionable business insights to support decision-making across teams.
• Predictive Analytics: Assist in building predictive models to forecast key metrics and provide recommendations based on historical trends
• Collaboration: Partner with business, finance, and technical teams to identify data needs, gather requirements, and deliver tailored solutions.
  
  

Qualifications

• Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of data analysis tools and languages such as Python, R, or SQL
• Business Intelligence: Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Analytical Skills: Strong foundation in statistics, data modeling, and exploratory data analysis.
• Excel Expertise: Proficiency in Excel for data manipulation, analysis, and basic visualization.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to present data insights clearly and concisely.
• Eagerness to Learn: Enthusiasm for data-driven problem-solving and applying analytics to real-world business challenges.
  
  

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND/OR REGISTRATION

• PowerBi, Tableau Desktop Specialist or similar (not required).
• Certifications in Python, SQL, or other data analysis tools (not required).
