What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacist position at Lakeview Hospital?
Performs daily operations of the pharmacy as defined by the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy. Supervises technicians, cashiers, and volunteers where applicable. Provides drug information to providers.
Work Schedule: 0.5 FTE - M-F Shift range: 8am-430pm, 9am-530pm; 930am-6pm and 130pm to 10pm. Weekends: 9am-530pm Saturday and Sunday - 1 weekend every 6 weeks
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited college of pharmacy with either a Bachelor of Science or PharmD degree
- Current MN Pharmacy license
- MTM Pharmacists: must have graduated in 1996 or after or obtained MTM certification
- Immunization Pharmacists: must have immunization certification and maintain current BLS - American Heart Association or BLS - American Red Cross (CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer & Health Care Provider)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Proficient in the English language
- Demonstrated ability to manage people and time effectively
- Good attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Retail pharmacy experience
