Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Professional role based at the dealership in Battle Creek, MI. The Sales Professional will greet and assist customers in the showroom and on the lot, understand their needs, and guide them through the process of selecting new and pre-owned vehicles. Daily responsibilities include explaining vehicle features and benefits, conducting test drives, preparing price quotes, and supporting customers through financing and purchase documentation. The role also involves following up with prospective and existing customers, maintaining accurate records in the dealership’s CRM system, and collaborating with service and finance team members to ensure a positive customer experience. The Sales Professional is expected to meet sales goals while upholding the dealership’s standards of professionalism, customer care, and ethical conduct.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills, with the ability to listen actively and communicate clearly.
• Sales aptitude including negotiation, closing skills, and comfort discussing pricing and financing options.
• Ability to learn and explain vehicle features, technology, and benefits in a clear and accessible manner.
• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with CRM or dealership management systems is beneficial.
• Solid organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple customer interactions in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional demeanor, reliability, and a commitment to ethical and inclusive business practices.
• Prior automotive or retail sales experience is preferred but not required; willingness to participate in ongoing training is important.
• High school diploma or equivalent; valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
